Why do you ask for a postal code?
So your library knows which region of the world you live in. Radon hotspots, climate timelines, water-quality flags, and contractor referrals all vary by region and even by neighbourhood. The Scorecard you receive is the same; the regional context wrapped around it gets sharper. We use the first part of your postal code or ZIP for relevance — we never need the full mailing address.
